I keep a piece of paper folded into 6 parts in my pocket in NYC.
The drawings I make traveling around each day, I call Subway Notes.

I saw how a configuration of these could be turned into a pamphlet, I call it a Zine.
The ideas from the Winter in the city turn into this and Spring-- as I then start my Summer Paintings. This cycle changes but there is always a similar evolution, from drawings, larger drawings repeated-- ones I like-- leading to larger paintings and differing ideas.
Anyway the ideas go into the Zine, made up of what seems most interesting maybe for how they seem to connect, and I see further ideas emerge.
It all is in service of a poem, which evolves similarly, and which comes from these strands.
It can be seen in it's recent evolution--. The Great Rotation. See link upper right column.
